Methods Engineer

Job description

SCOPE:

- Expert specialized in a area of knowledge for industrialisation / manufacturing (Lean Manufacturing, Video analysis, ergonomics, tools, MPH, Control and Automation, cost analysis, safety, etc...) in a plant.

- Coordination (hierarchical or functional) of jobs scopes 1 to 4, within a site.

- Guarantee the performance of industrial processes (DT,IE, OEE, PLT ...)

MTM and operators training skill is mandatory

MAIN ACTIVITIES:

- Ensure management of service methods in a unit and / or a specialized group (competencies pole in a specific technology)

- Ensure the implementation of SPS principles and developing methods and tools 6 Sigma, Lean Mfg, MPH, VSM

- Manage his team according to SPS / SIM rules and cycle event of the plant

- Manage continuous improvement for line architectures, internal & external resources

- Ensure the capacities adaptation by using capapcity management tools

- Define & maintain a referential operating time

- Ensure (operational) pilot pour IST6 the profitability of investments adapted to the needs of optimization and development process

- Knowledge on Jigs, Fixtures & Tools and low cost automation

- Propose new projects and execution of same

- Propose the organisation to implement new project (or increase / decrease volume of production) to optimise DVC & MBC costs

- Guide the choice of designers by providing industrial and logistical requirements

- Maintain the manpower versatility and flexibility and the multi-skills capabilities within his team

Qualifications – External

Educational Qualification -

BE (Mech./Prod/Industrial Engineering), Post Graduate in Industrial Engineering / Manufacturing etc.

Experience - Total Experience around 7-10 years with relevant experience at least 6 years (recent)BE (Mech./Prod/Industrial Engineering), Post Graduate in Industrial Engineering / Manufacturing etc will be additional advantage

Basic Working knowledge in Auto CAD is mandatory.
