For an international trust company based in Amsterdam we are looking for a pro-active legal officer. Due to growth of the company there is an open position in the client team focussed on clients from the USA, active in oil & gas and real estate.
As a legal officer you advise business partners and global corporate and private clients. You are perfectly capable to maintain an outstanding relationship with clients, shareholders, banks and foreign advisors. You have affinity with corporate management services and have the drive to get things done. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of corporate law, is a proactive team player and has experience with tax law.
Responsibilities
- Set up, develop and manage corporate and private legal structures
- Draft standard legal documents, for example loan agreements and minutes
- Take care of mergers and acquisition of client companies
- Attend meetings with clients and other partners
- Maintain the client portfolio in good standing and comply with rules of the Dutch Central Bank
Profile
- A master degree in Dutch civil, fiscal or notary law
- Two to three years of working experience
- Fluent in English, verbally and in writing
- Interest in international financial markets
- Service-oriented, accurate and able to meet tight deadlines
