PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
You are a motivated, experienced or junior developer and you want first-hand experience with coding for the Cloud in the important area of Security?
SAP HCP Cloud Security team may be the right place for you!
We develop for the Cloud, follow DevOps model and deliver features to our customers every second week.
We are responsible for the Security features of the SAP HANA Cloud Platform – the SAP’s open and standards based platform as a service for on-demand applications.
We work in SCRUM, do pair programming, strive for clean code and continuously improve the way we work.
The colleagues in our team and security organization have huge knowledge and experience in the security, cloud and programming. We have lot of learning opportunities and support the learning culture.
JOINING THE SAP HCP CLOUD SECURITY TEAM YOU WILL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO
• Develop key capabilities of the PaaS offering of SAP – SAP HANA Cloud Platform, end-to-end: research, prototype, implementation, tests, technical documentation
• Become an expert and gain real-life experience in information security for the cloud

• Work in Scrum and follow agile methodologies
• Work in DevOps model with end to end responsibility on released services, apply cloud engineering best practices

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
• BS (MS preferred) in Computer Science or related field, or currently studying
• Knowledge in object-oriented programming, algorithms and data structures
• Knowledge in Java
• Experience in client-server programming and Cloud environment is a plus
• Knowledge in software security (authentication mechanisms, cryptography, system and network security, security breaches…) is an advantage
• Very good spoken and written English
• Decision-making and problem solving skills
• Strong communication skills
