PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES

·  We have set ourselves the challenging task of further developing the groundbreaking SAP in-memory computing technology over the next years. The latest technologies in the areas of main-memory, multi-core processing, and data management now allow effective in-memory computing, which analyzes business data in real time and combines transactional and analytic functions to significantly improve the performance of existing business processes.
·  As the basis of the SAP in-memory technology, the SAP HANA database is already widely recognized as an exceptionally valuable element of the SAP software portfolio and will be of crucial importance for the SAP market of the future.
·  The SAP Global Data Science team is developing innovative solutions working close with the customers. The Global Data Science Hub is located in Greece and is responsible for the implementation as well as the packaging of successful and reusable cases.
·  We are looking for Young Graduates and/or Young professionals to be trained in SAP Solutions in order to build competencies to address requirements of customers in various industries and to package high value Data Science solutions.

·  Support and execute pre-sales activities
·  Support in preparation and packaging of HANA full usage customer implementation solutions (PoCs)
·  Effective completion of the deliverables contracted within time and scope.
·  Work closely with internal colleagues and customer teams to ensure successful project completion.
·  Directly liaising with customer representatives from IT and the Business and managing expectations.
·  Expand own skill sets to new areas such as Predictive Analytics, BI, ETL.

 

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

·  Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Analytics, Information Systems or equivalent degree.

 

REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS

·  Web development (JavaScript, AJAX, HTML, using client-side frameworks e.g. jQuery )
·  Experience in an Object Oriented programming language (e.g Java, Python, Ruby)
·  Database Management in any major RDBMS (Oracle, MS SQL, Sybase ASE, DB2, etc.)
·  Database Programming: SQL Scripts / Stored Procedures / Functions
·  Data modeling skills. Including relational and dimensional data modeling and physical database design of decision support systems.
·  Database architecture & design techniques for both OLTP and reporting requirements

 

OPTIONAL TECHNICAL SKILLS

·  Good understanding of SAP core products, including SAP HANA Platform architecture, SAPUI5 framework and SAP’s User Experiecence (UI/UX) concept. Knowledge on any of the below will be considered a major plus:
·  Data modeling in SAP HANA (calculation views, transformations, data transfer process, datasources, etc.)
·  XS Classic/XS Advance development including OData definition and server-side Javascript;
·  Performance and tuning (aggregates, compression and archiving)
·  Experience in building of ETL processes; knowledge of data sources and data Integration
·  Mathematical Modelling: MatLab, Predictive Workbech/SPSS, SAS, R.
·  D3.js experience

 

 

WORK EXPERIENCE

·  Work experience or projects on the below will be considered an advantage:
·  SAP HANA Native Development
·  SAPUI5 & SAP Web IDE
·  SAP Business Objects Business Intelligence Portfolio
·  Big Data landscapes (e.g. Hadoop)
·  Any other industry leading data warehouse platforms/tools
