Job description



Purpose of the job

·  To perform Pharmacovigilance (PV) activities in Sanofi Norway in accordance with local legislation and company guidelines.
·  To handle Medical Information enquiries in Sanofi Norway in accordance with local legislation and company guidelines.
·  To contribute to the overall success of Sanofi by establishing and sharing within the company a good knowledge of PV and Medical Information, including legal and company requirements, and to contribute to the maintenance of good customer relations.

Key Responsibilities

·  To obtain and maintain thorough knowledge of company procedures and legal requirements regarding Pharmacovigilance and Medical Information, as well as having a good knowledge of the PV and MI aspects of the company portfolio.
·  Handling of Individual Case Safety Reports and Periodic Reports according to local legislation and company Quality Documents (QDs).
·  Providing relevant safety information to HA, internal stakeholders and external parties. Ensure involvement of GPV, GSO and CSH as appropriate.
·  Upon agreement support the CSH in local safety surveillance activities, safety issues, risk management activities, product alerts, patient support programs and market research programs throughout the affiliate. Inform GPV and HA about safety issues in accordance with local legislation and company QDs.
·  Handling of Medical Information inquiries arising from Health Care Professionals, patients and other customers according to local legislation and company QDs.
·  To provide high standards of the Medical Information Service to support internal and external customers.
·  Participate in writing and updating of local/MCO QDs according to corporate QDs and local legislation.
·  Training of employees in PV and Medical Information relevant processes applicable for their function.
·  Collaborate with applicable third parties within PV and Medical Information Info area.
·  Actively support corporate policies, values and initiatives.

About you

Essential Requirements:

·  University degree in Pharmacy, Medicine or equivalent.
· 
Preferably experience from pharmacovigilance or medical information at affiliate level.

·  Fluent in English and Norwegian (mother tongue), both written and spoken.
·  Computer literacy
·  Strong skills in planning and prioritization.
·  Awareness of need for accuracy.
·  Strong communication skills with health-care professionals, patients and colleagues.
·  Strong interpersonal skills and cooperates well with colleagues.
·  Teamplayer
