Job overview

The Performance Specialist (PS) applies Human Performance Improvement (HPI) approaches to identify and develop solutions that target the root cause of performance gaps.

Responsibilities

·  Analyzes requests for learning to ensure learning will solve the identified gaps in performance and recommends solutions to achieve targeted performance.
·  Provides expert support to business units by conducting assessments, identifying gaps and providing customized direction and guidance.
·  Analyzes data, key indicators and metrics to identify Human Performance (HP) trends and applies a systems thinking approach to provide guidance on business initiatives to improve human performance.
·  Solicits feedback and performing analysis of available data to evaluate the effectiveness of programs and initiatives.
·  Provides recommendations for appropriate learning, procedural and/or organizational interventions to address Human and Organizational Performance deficiencies.
·  Provides on-going HP training to business units. Partners and coordinates with Learning & Development and business unit training functions to ensure consistent and timely delivery of training products including the development of new training and resources as needed.
·  Proactively recommends Human Performance Improvement (HPI) program enhancements to incorporate best-in-class approaches. Serves as an internal and external advocate and champion for HP as well as organizational values and culture.

Basic Qualifications

· 
Bachelor's degree in Business, Analytics or Human Performance Improvement or similar field of study.

· 
3+ years experience leading stakeholders to define and analyze current and future state performance-enabling capabilities and translating them into holistic performance solutions that include learning and development, procedural and organizational changes, and change management needs.

· 
Proven ability to partner and create and sustain professional relationships at all levels in the organization.

· 
Proven ability to design, lead and influence change, to “think outside the box” and innovate new ways of developing and delivering solutions.

· 
Strong analytical, consultative and diagnostic skills and ability to make sound, data-based business decisions; utilizes data to solve problems of varying complexity.

· 
Ability to work as part of a well-integrated, global team and collaborate across functional, organizational, and geographic boundaries.

Special Working Conditions

Potential of up to 10% travel to locations within network and possess a valid passport.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Proficient in using MS Office applications with key strengths in PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint

·  Change Management, Coaching, Competency Management, Evaluating Learning Impact, Knowledge Management,Performance Improvement/Gap Analysis, and Project Management
