Mission statement

Sanofi Finland is seeking an experienced field-based Medical Representative / Product Specialist for our Diabetes portfolio covering the region of Varsinais-Suomi & Satakunta.

The main purpose of this role is to ensure achievement of the defined sales targets of our Diabetes portfolio by engaging with our key customers: GPs, SPs, diabetes nurses and key opinion leaders in the field of diabetes.

This is a great opportunity to work with an interesting product portfolio for a global market leader in the pharmaceutical industry.

Key Responsibilities

·  Develop and maintain strong relationships with the key influencers and decision makers in central hospitals: physicians, nurses and other customers.
·  Develop strong brand awareness; plan and conduct daily sales calls and educational activities with HCPs.
·  Share knowledge and experience locally with colleagues and within the cluster of Nordics & Baltics (NOBA)
·  Ensure planned sales targets and promotion goals are met.
·  Maintain and actively support corporate policies, values and initiatives: Act for Change, Strive for Results, Cooperate Transversally, Commit to Customers.
·  Develop a strong understanding of the local market dynamics and maximize market potential for Sanofi’s diabetes products.
·  Provide analytical territory action planning in collaboration with the PC Business Unit, Customer Engagement Managers and the Medical Department.
·  Understand patient flows and act in accordance with Local and National guidelines.

About you

Essential Requirements:

·  Business Administration (or equivalent) or Health care / Pharmacy degree
·  1-5 years of relevant experience in a similar position
·  Pharmaceutical industry experience and scientific orientation - advantage
·  Strong negotiation and selling skills; high personal drive and commitment
·  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
·  Knowledge of Project Management
·  Spoken and written fluency in Finnish and English
·  Driving license
·  Willingness to travel frequently in Finland and the NOBA cluster; on call duty 24 hours / day
