About the Opportunity

Reporting directly to the District manager, as a Medical Representative Consumer Healthcare for the assigned territory (TM, CS, HD) you will be providing on time through regular visits to physicians and pharmacists relevant and accurate medical information on group products and on the means to prescribe them. You will forward adequate promotion messages about the group's products by physicians and pharmacists in order to meet targets for individual work. As Medical Representative you will propose and organize informative seminars & presentations for doctors & pharmacists in order to provide more information about products. You will create, maintain and develop good relationships with physicians and professional contacts, and all other working partners. You will be responsible to identify and initiate contact with potential new factors that are prescribing or influencing prescribing promoted products.

Key responsibilities

·  Complete, maintain and update the database of doctors and, as appropriate, pharmacies, and other professional databases as required by superiors;
·  Collect and communicate data and information regularly (regarding its activity - at least once a week, our competitors and business partners of the group, etc.) using standard communication and reporting formats;
·  Implement local marketing strategies for products promoted defined by the Product Manager/Trade Marketing Manager, under the leadership of the District Manager, Department Manager and the General Manager CHC;
·  Perform the minimum number of visits set for the period agreed;
·  Transmit, under the direction of District Manager, promotional messages corresponding to clients' interests, according to local marketing strategies for products as defined by the Product Manager, Trade Marketing Manager, Department Manager and Managing Director CHC;
·  Be constantly informed about the sales situation (about the products they promote, and the ones of competing pharmaceutical companies) in his work area on general or specific information about products on all important aspects to fulfill his responsibilities, using as an information source market data provided by the agreed group suppliers;
·  Implement and maintain standards of merchandising in pharmacies in accordance with company policy;
·  Position promotional materials in pharmacies (displays, presentation lines etc.) in places approved / recommended by the product manager/ Trade Marketing Manager, setting and applying standards set by this period;
·  Observe location on product visibility;
·  Ensure that the department's direct superiors (District Manager, etc.) are properly informed of all-important events related to the sale and promotion of the group products;
·  Participate at the process of organizing local and international events (symposiums);
·  Identify participants for local and international congresses;
·  Create and regularly adjusted target customer group and the plans for visits under the supervision of District Manager;
·  Implements plan visits and reports in accordance with internal procedures;
·  Collect and report all relevant information on customer needs and work in the field, in full compliance with internal procedures and regulations;
·  Provide information and activity reports as Department Manager required and specifications of internal regulations;
·  Manage its monthly budget expenses under the group policy (i.e. the mobile phone limit, data transfer limit, fuel, business card limit, other operating costs);
·  Spend on average 90% of the working day/ week on the field with external business partners, according to the service instructions. The remaining time is for administrative activities;
·  Cover the allocated territory efficiently and in accordance with the instructions of his superiors;
·  Achieve its priorities and quantitative and qualitative targets (target sales, market share, number of visits, call plan, the number of presentations at doctors, etc.) approved and evaluated with direct superior.

About You

Essential requirements:

·  Stable location: Timisoara;
·  Minimum 1-year experience in a similar role;
·  University Degree;
·  Good PC operating skills;
·  Good English skills;
·  Romanian language native;
·  Driving license;
·  Solid knowledge of sales and negotiation technics, pharma industry and pharma products;
·  Strong skills and experience in managing relationships with different stakeholders: healthcare professionals, key opinion leaders etc.;
·  Excellent communication skills;
·  Strategic and analytic thinking, initiative and proactivity, decision making capabilities;
·  Integrity, tenacity, resilience and adaptability in complex situations and an often-changing environment, ability to handle pressure and commit to and respect deadlines;
·  Highly focused and drives to set for him/herself ambitious objectives;
·  Capacity to perform highly both individually and within a team;
·  Capacity to learn, understand and use medical information and marketing tools.

It would be advantageous to have (not essential):

·  University Degree in Medicine/Pharmacy or other medical related.
