JOB DESCRIPTION

Within the Group Financing Treasury and Insurance Department, the Financial Markets Department is organized around 3 main pillars:

·  Capital Markets is providing the Group with mid and long term financing through Bond Issuances, Loans, Equities and manages relationships with credit rating agencies
·  Dealing Room is managing the short term financing of Sanofi Holding as well as Foreign Exchange (FX), Interest Rates (IR) and Money Market (MM)
·  Bank Relationship Coordination is monitoring our activities with the 16 core-banks that commit into RCF program (revolving credit facility)

The Financial Markets analyst will be involved in both Dealing Room and Capital Markets operations. She/He will have the following responsibilities:

Dealing room

·  FX :
·  Management of the centralized Foreign exchange risk (deliverable and non-deliverable currencies)
·  Assist in the preparation of bank balances according to the commercial and financial flows of our subsidiaries and deal them
·  Support of the Subsidiary financing department in the economic macro analysis of a country
·  IR :
·  Interest rate risk management on the debt and its mix fixed / floating ratio
·  MM :
·  Management of the cash of the group according to various constraints of liquidity, counterparts and accounting
·  Perpetual research for new investment products in this environment of low rate
·  Financing the group by Issue of USCP program / Neu CP program / O/N

Capital Markets

·  Assist in the preparation and execution of both debt and equity operations: bond issuances, revolving credit lines, share buy backs, operations on Sanofi's listed stakes
·  Market Watch: monitoring of corporates and peers markets transactions (M&A, debt and equity transactions, etc.), follow up of bond issuances pricing, peers' analysis (financial ratios, rating, capital allocation etc.), monitoring of Sanofi's stock performance and Sanofi's listed stakes
·  Provide financial markets expertise for several internal counterparties when needed among which International Treasury, Consolidation, Group Controlling, M&A, Legal etc.

REQUIRED PROFILE

·  Fluency in French and English is mandatory, high-level writing skills
·  Specialized in Corporate Finance / Financial Markets
·  Experience in Treasury and/or Financial Markets in an investment bank or a large listed corporate is a plus
·  Understanding of financial instruments and their accounting treatment, and ability to analyse their impact on the capital structure
·  Negotiation behaviour
·  Team working spirit
