Job description



JOB PURPOSE

To support the Head of FP&A in achievement of the team's objectives to closely monitor and manage business performance by providing analytical finance and administrative support to the operational management team locally. Key responsibilities include:

·  Participation in planning, budgeting and forecasting exercise
·  Management reporting of sales, P&L and stocks
·  Monitoring financial performance
·  Preparation and circulation of performance dashboards to Internal and External Stakeholders
·  Ad-hoc analyses and transversal projects

KEY RESULTS / ACCOUNTABILITIES

·  Participation in planning, budgeting and forecasting exercise
·  Coordinate preparation of budgets and forecasts in collaboration with FBP’s and in line with corporate and regional guidelines
·  Preparation and maintenance of master file for budgets, forecasts and long range plans
·  Preparation of financial slides, consolidation and reporting of budgets, forecasts and long range plans in HFM, TM1
·  Preparation and consolidation of budget decks

·  Management reporting of sales, P&L and stocks
·  Monthly reporting of sales comments, sales bridges, P&L comments, price volume analysis, DSO and Fx impact to the regional team based in Paris
·  Monthly reporting of SISO to the region and Babylon team. Ensure close coordination with BEX to ensure data integrity with necessary controls in place and participate in the SISO Governance Meetings
·  Preparation and circulation of Monthly financial deck to the region (monthly and quarterly sales, sales bridges, tender phasing, P&L, GTN, Opex, DSO and OIE comments, headcount, SISO and R&O.
·  Prepare and submit data for corporate indicators: IS, Capex, Personnel cost etc.
·  Prepare and report Alliance Reporting’s to the corporate team as per corporate guidelines and ensuring accuracy / checks

·  Monitoring financial performance
·  Alert regarding variances, risks and opportunities versus objectives
·  Perform in-depth analysis of sell-in and sell through for each country. Highlight and challenge the significant deviations vs prior years, budget and forecasts to the Head of Operations and FBPs
·  Monitoring of Gulf financial figures in the frame of the monthly reporting: Sales, P&L, DSO, Marco and other Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) including stocks (SISO, SIT)
·  Review and challenge Sales / P&L / DSO / SISO, reporting comments and analyses

·  Preparation and circulation of performance dashboards to Internal and External Stakeholders
·  Preparation and circulation of performance dashboards on a monthly basis (Finance dashboard to MC, GM Analysis, SISO Analysis)
·  Prepare managerial presentations for internal/regional financial reviews (Business Governance, Rx / CHC leadership meetings, Country Council, BPM)

·  Ad-hoc analyses, tasks and transversal projects
·  Ensure active support to country Finance Business Partners in the frame of business processes, by maintaining, enhancing automating and proposing new dashboards and tools
·  Set up the procedural framework and appropriate management controls, dashboards and tools to monitor the consolidated performance of Gulf Countries and propose corrective actions where necessary
·  Ensure within the frame of these processes respect of group reporting procedure, accounting rules, deadlines, accuracy and reliability of the figures, and check the consistency of the figures in systems (HFM, Marco, Magnitude, eGate…)
·  Support the preparation of regular and ad hoc financial statements and variance analysis for management review
·  Maintenance of master data in TM1

SKILLS, EXPERIENCE & KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS

·  Education: Master’s degree in Accounting and Finance or equivalent
·  Experience: 3 years experience in FP&A within Sanofi preferable, or a similar role within a Multi-National Company  
·  Skills: Financial Analysis, Management Reporting, Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint. On-hand practical experience of HFM, TM1. Magnitude and SAP
