JOB PURPOSE

The purpose of this role is to help Sanofi IA organization and IADC implement the agile methodology by developing agile teams and facilitating the organizational culture change necessary for sustained agile success.

The goal of an Agile Coach is to improve teams of developers, scrum masters, product owners and overall project management by increasing collaboration, innovation, and introducing techniques that promote adaptability and flexibility; including fail fast.

In many cases (s)he will be implementing this new methodology for the first time, meaning that in addition to coaching (s)he is driving organizational change.

The priority areas of focus are:

· 
Define project routines and rituals to standardize across team the best practices.

· 
Promote interactive working sessions with users to define personas, requirements and user stories and build the full story around each digital product.

The role will require strong interfaces with

· 
Product Owners.

· 
ITS Scrum Masters.

· 
Fit4Future transformation leaders.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Educate Colleagues

·  Provide education and training sessions at all levels and teach valuable skills that lead toward the organization-wide adoption of Agile methodologies.

Mentor Team

·  As a mentor, the Agile Coach is responsible for guiding teams into the Agile methodology, providing employees with feedback and means of improvement, catalyzing organizational growth and answering questions. Provide hands-on support collaborating with people across widely varying levels and roles, leading teams toward further understanding and adoption of Agile.

Develop Agile Adoption Strategy

·  The Agile Coach is responsible for designing a strategy for the organizational adoption of Agile. This includes every stage of adoption, from the introduction of Agile and employee education, to fostering teams and cultures that practice Agile, to sustaining Agile methodologies and continually offering strategies for improvement.

Implement Agile Methodology

·  This task entails implementing Agile process, principles and practices across all levels and departments in an organization. The Agile Coach must use techniques that increase collaboration, predictability, transparency and promote a culture of experimentation and innovation.

Education / Experience

· 
Demonstrating strong knowledge of and background with Agile concepts.

· 
Proven experience successfully coaching teams in Agile adoption or as a Scrum Master.

· 
Nice to have Scrum Coach or Scrum Master certification.

Technical skills & Competencies / Language

· 
Knowledge of Digital technology trends.

· 
Project management and effective communication.

· 
Background on programming or development cycles.

· 
Fluent English spoken and written compulsory, fluent French appreciated.
