iMove, the Sanofi VIE Program, is available to citizens of the European Economic Area (EU + Norway, Liechtenstein and Iceland) aged between 18 and 28.

We are looking for a candidate for a VIE mission of:
Data Scientist
- VIE Contract (W/M)
Responsibilities:
- Identify valuable data sources and automate collection processes
- Undertake preprocessing of structured and unstructured data
- Analyze large amounts of information to discover trends and patterns
- Combine models through ensemble modeling
- Present information using data visualization techniques
- Propose solutions and strategies to business challenges
- Apply a broad array of analytics skills including machine learning, statistics, and modeling to extract insights to structured and unstructured healthcare data sources, pre-clinical, clinical trial and complementary real-world & digital information streams
- Work on a variety of team-based projects providing expertise in analytical and computational approaches
- Leverage analytics involving large datasets to refine and improve data models
Requirements:
Education:
- Master degree with major in computer science, mathematics, physics, or a related quantitative science
Experience:
- A minimum of 1 year of full time working experience in a similar position
IT skills:
- Programming experience in one or more of the following: Python, R, SQL (Structured Query Language), HTML, JavaScript
Language:
- Fluent English
Other desirable skills:
- Working knowledge of Linux and shell scripting
- Strong interested in learning biology and immunological diseases, liaising with scientists from Immunology and Inflammation to help define and address biological questions with computational approaches
- Knowledge and experience with cloud-based computing such as AWS (Amazon Web Services)
- Experience working with databases and knowledge of SQL, and non-relational databases
- Experience with big data processing and neural network algorithms such as TensorFlow
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal and team skills
- Experience and knowledge with machine learning preferred
