Job Purpose
Support field-based execution of Brand(s) strategies. Driving territory sales performance of assigned geography; developing and executing territory business plans; and building and maintaining preferred partner relationships with key customers.
Major Accountabilities
• Achieve all territory business objectives including sales goals and growth
• Promote Novartis products and services with key opinion leaders, targeted specialists and healthcare professionals
• Know customers’ needs and deliver solutions that benefit patients, healthcare professionals and Novartis
• Develop, implement and execute a territory business plan
• Communicate and collaborate with all cross functional team members to ensure optimal alignment on business opportunities and priorities
• Maintain a current level of knowledge on assigned products and disease areas
• Ensure speaker identification and liaise with MSL/Med Ed to ensure development
• Analyze and report on sales, Medical Education , monthly plans, call activity and budgets on a monthly basis
• Act as a role model for the Novartis leadership standards, values & behaviours and best commercial practices (compliance IMC, Code of conduct, etc.)
• Represent Novartis as an innovative and ethical research oriented company whose products and services respond accurately to the needs of patients and of the medical community

Desired profile
Minimum requirements
• University degree, health sciences or business administration preferable
• Minimum of 3 years related sales experience with a strong record of achievement
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a hospital, specialty, or Ophthalmology is a strong asset. Results-oriented and customer focused
• Highly energetic and self-motivated
• Ability to lead without authority
• Ability to collaborate effectively with various groups and commitment to teamwork
• Proven business Acumen
• Entrepreneurial Aptitudes
• Solid product knowledge and ability to learn detailed product
