-• Excellent understanding of embargoes and sanction currently in place including screening process, potential match assessment, release or escalation • Accountable for the correctness of customs classification for material in scope globally • Act as an advisor when required to Novartis business if customs classification needs fur-ther explanation or training • Prepare and present reports on customs and trade compliance matters • Support collection, analysis and submission of the Key Performance Indicators from No-vartis businesses to Global CTC function • Manage export controls including classification, management and monitoring of license application for controlled goods and/or embargo and sanction territories

- • Generate and submit internal and Global CTC KPIs (Audit Findings, Penalties, Savings) • Tariff classifications and screening above the determined threshold • Projects timeliness and quality implementation • Positive feedback from customers on quality, customer satisfaction

Minimum requirements

Bachelor level education (Degree):B.Com, B.Pharma, BBA,MBA Fluent in English (written and spoken) Knowledge of any other language is beneficial • Minimum of 3 years of experience in customs and international trade function. • In-depth knowledge gained in a large multinational company is re-quired in relation to trade sanction screening and hits’ • Knowledge on import and export principles is required at good working level, including: customs classification, export control classi-fication, country of origin determination process • Pharmaceutical, chemical or food industry past experience is desired. • Must keeping up to date with changes in customs regulations • Experience with SAP is desired, previous GTS usage is an ad-vantage
