•Ensures proper work flow functioning of a designated area while overseeing the work of technicians within manufacturing, quality, or technical services in terms of quality, quantity, customer service, and compliance of products.
•Effectively supports/ownership of the success of the Technical Service Repair Shop, and teams within the Repair Shop, by providing leadership, technical services and accurate information.
•Interacts with internal and external contacts to provide clear, straightforward, effective, and factual communication and information.
•Resolves limited and non-routine conflicts/issues/problems as required; follows up as necessary.
•Maintains a broad awareness of the roles of immediate team members, and related processes, to achieve results and effectively meet business needs.
•Provides limited work direction to team in order to facilitate business needs.
•Monitors/Updates shop metrics, provides objective feedback on employee/shop performance and acts to resolve related issues in a timely manner.
•Ensures fairness in driving compliance to Alcon Quality Standards, Novartis Code of Conduct, Values & Behaviors, and GxP.

•Minimum Education: High School Diploma
•Preferred Education: Specialized technical degree/education or Bachelor's degree preferred.
•Proficient with Reading, Writing, and Speaking English
•Minimum: 3+ years of related experience
•Preferred: 4+ years of strong experience, at an advanced repair shop or field service level of complexity.
