General Description
We're searching for a Senior Manager, Digital Health Business Development to join the Services & New Business (SNB) division at Samsung Electronics America. This position will be based in Mountain View, CA. SNB is an agile “start-up” team with highly talented and results oriented individuals. We take an interdisciplinary approach to transform the way devices are combined with software and services – increasing consumer engagement and creating new revenue opportunities – to accelerate company growth. We are responsible for strategy, product marketing, and business operations for services including Digital Health (Samsung Health), Intelligence (Bixby), IOT, and Samsung Pay. Responsibilities Senior Manager Business Development at Samsung Digital Health is responsible for formulating partnership strategies, cultivating ecosystem, and delivering innovative programs for Samsung's Health platform. This position is crucial in identifying and creating new commercial models and for Samsung across Health & Wellness. You will report to the Director, Consumer Digital Health (Samsung Health) and will work closely with the Service Business Strategists, Product Managers/Engineers, and Service Marketers in developing business cases and GTM strategy, structuring partnerships, and driving strategic initiatives to grow our Health business globally. • Identify and generate new partnership opportunities • Evaluate proposals and drive negotiations with potential partners • Coordinate with local sales teams, legal, and marketing on partnerships • Build business cases to model impact of partnership programs • Conduct quarterly review of current partnerships • Conduct market analyses and competitive intelligence • Develop and assess strategic options • Facilitate cross-functional strategy workshops • Work closely with enterprise sales team and channel partners to identify new value creation opportunities • Work cross-functionally with leaders on product management (plus engineering and data science teams) to unlock new, more sophisticated strategies for partnerships • Managing the account teams (account mgmt and project mgmt) • Comfortable leading groups/teams

Necessary Skills / Attributes
Minimum Requirements • 10+ years of total experience with 3-5 years of direct experience in one or more of the following disciplines: digital health, healthcare and/or corporate wellness strategy and operations, business development/partnerships in high-tech/Mobile/Telco environments, preferably software or services • HOWEVER if you are smart and have the relevant experience that proves your capability, talent trumps degree/tenure as always • MBA degree highly preferred, Bachelor Degree in Business • Experience in the development, assessment, and structuring of new partnerships and markets • Understanding of healthcare enterprise economics/incentives and value drivers • Strong data analytical and financial modeling ability • Outstanding verbal & written communication skills • Ability to manage by influence and work effectively with cross-functional teams in a global matrix organization • Strong self-starter who is able to work independently to develop new business opportunities Desired Skills • Experience in the development, assessment, and structuring of new partnerships and markets • Understanding of healthcare enterprise economics/incentives and value drivers • Strong data analytical and financial modeling ability • Outstanding verbal & written communication skills • Ability to manage by influence and work effectively with cross-functional teams in a global matrix organization • Strong self-starter who is able to work independently to develop new business opportunities
