The Opportunity We're looking for a confident individual with deep marketing experience who understands the importance of storytelling and marketplace positioning. He/She should have a passion for leading development of go-to-market resources, including but not limited to pitch presentations, platform narrative, video sizzles/demos and consumerfacing website. If you love shaping stories and creating both audience and product positioning, we'd love to meet you! Candidates must have a strong knowledge base of Advanced TV and insights-based advertising. He/She will be expected to develop and maintain excellent working relationships with all appropriate levels within and outside the company. The Strategic Marketing Lead will report directly to the Head of Marketing & Client Solutions and will be based in the NYC office with domestic US travel as needed. Specific responsibilities include: • Play an integral role in developing the voice of Samsung Ads, and provide an informed and unique POV on the advanced TV and programmatic landscape. • Lead development of core marketing resources, including sales narrative & presentation, core offerings, and communication of audience/vertical insights. • Define quarterly plan for development of creative sales resources; including but not limited to video sizzles, client newsletters, client-facing website and audience brochures. • Align closely with Sales Management to understand advertiser priorities, concerns and challenges. Direct knowledge base of client needs will help shape overall positioning and provide guidance on how to manage client communication. • Drive planning for Industry Events, such as CES, Advertising Week and thought-leadership conferences, focusing on Samsung Ads core “story” to key advertisers. • Form partnerships across internal Samsung divisions to gain stronger insights on our consumer profile and define the Samsung audience. • Collaborate with Product team to better understand platform innovations, which will help shape our overall POV on the industry. • Oversee marketing training programs to ensure consistent messaging throughout US & International markets. • Lead marketplace communication efforts related to press releases, press FAQ, product announcements and PR forums.

Necessary Skills / Attributes
Qualifications: • 12 to 15+ years working in an organization that supports the Advertising Sales function with F100 brands. • Direct experience in developing marketplace positioning and communication for a leading Advertising company. • Bachelor's degree in Business, Advertising, Marketing or related field. Master or MBA degree a plus. • Prior experience in working with design agencies and producers on marketing resources. • Must be task driven and have the ability to produce and hit key deliverable deadlines in a fast-paced environment. • Attention to detail, ability to multitask and strong organizational skills required. • Deep understanding of the digital advertising space, with knowledge of programmatic landscape. • Exceptional communication and leadership skills.
