About the Product Marketing Manager MBA role:

The Product Data Science (PDS) team is made up of data scientists, engineers, and growth analysts who are dedicated to driving product strategy with data-driven insights. The PDS team works with executives, product managers, designers, developers, user researchers, marketers, and sales team members across all Salesforce Cloud businesses to discover new opportunities for growth and optimization, experiment with data, drive adoption, and provide actionable insights that impact product strategy.

Role Description:

The Growth Analyst position will report to a Sr. Growth Analyst on the Product Data Science team. The Growth Analyst Intern’s main objective will be to help shape Salesforce products by delivering data-driven product insights, conducting adoption tests, and guiding a team of Data Engineers and Data Scientists to productize these insights.

This role requires experience driving adoption growth, and technical expertise in data-mining, analysis, and visualization. Advanced communication skills are also crucial to the success of this role. All Growth Analysts must be able to build relationships and collaborate across a large, matrixed environment, and comfortably present findings to large groups of product executives.

Responsibilities:

You will be partnered with one of our Sr. Growth Analysts to help support a Salesforce cloud business with their strategic business objectives, product direction, roadmaps, key metrics, and growth goals.

Day-to-day, you will collaborate with other Growth Analysts to produce growth insights, identify opportunities for product improvements, and advise investment decisions. This will require acquiring, cleaning, structuring, and analyzing data from multiple sources (e.g. Hadoop, Splunk, Oracle).

You will deliver the results of your analyses in easily-consumable, actionable presentations to groups of stakeholders and executives.

Requirements:

-
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Math, Economics, Business Management, or a closely related discipline

Pursuing a MBA or Masters degree in a quantitative discipline.

2+ years experience in analytics (e.g. as a growth analysts, marketing analyst, financial analyst)

-
Consulting experience (Top 5) is a plus.

Strong experience with SQL. Experience with Splunk, Python, and BI tools (e.g. Salesforce Wave, Tableau) is a plus.

Strong communication and visualization skills; can easily create powerful visualizations that transform complex data into easily-consumable, actionable insights.

Expert level experience with Excel and PowerPoint.

Extremely proactive mindset; can anticipate questions, lead growth conversations with the product team, and automate answers to routine questions.

Detailed knowledge of and curiosity about latest trends in SaaS growth industry, including evaluating and testing new tools, techniques, and frameworks.

Hands-on on Salesforce knowledge of products and functionality a plus.
