Job description
Ensure the deployment, implementation and the animation of the Safran+ improvement initiative for one of the departments of the site.
FUNCTIONS (Before Black Belt certification)
- Facilitate and animate a series of Accelerated Improvement Workshops (AIW - Kaizen workshops) in the Department
- Be proactive and a creative force, within the allocated department , to identify new projects that help improve operational performance and use innovative solutions on ongoing projects
- Animate and support 5S, I See I Do, and EDI in their allocated departments
- Support the White Belt training plan
- Organizing the necessary benchmark in order to improve the performance in the dedicated area
- Identifying and deploying standard tools, processes and practices
FUNCTIONS in addition to the above (after Black Belt certification)
- Run as a project leader at least one major project a year (Black Belt project aiming to solve complex problems, reengineer a production line or a process…)
- Coach and support the Green belts on their projects on the lean-sigma approach and tools

Candidate skills & requirements
Good knowledge of the lean-sigma techniques (Approach, DMAIC, Lean Principals)
Preferably Green Belt or Black Belt trained (Safran standard or other)
Strong sense of contact and communication skills, trainer and coaching capacities
Leadership, ability to animate workshops and lead the change.
Note - We require evidence of written English at interview stage. This will be through providing certification of a formal English or technical qualification studied in the UK or overseas in English. If this cannot be provided you will be required to complete and pass an online SHL English comprehension test as part of the interview process
