Job description

Safran is seeking Data Engineers to join its Safran Analytics unit.
Are you passionate about data processing, particularly large volumes of data? Are you fascinated by technologies like Hadoop, MapReduce and Yarn? Do you attach real importance to the performance of the solutions you implement? Do you think big data technologies have the potential to impact all sectors of industry?
Come and be part of this paradigm shift in aerospace, defense and security. Take a major role in expanding Safran's expertise and innovations. Drawing on your experience, you will implement big data solutions for Safran, helping solve some of the operational challenges it faces.
You will propose the most appropriate architectures to meet the requirements of different projects in both real-time and batch mode. You must be able to assess the advantages and disadvantages of each technology. You will be able to work with our teams of data engineers, developers and data scientists. You must be someone who stays abreast of the latest data processing technologies and takes a keen interest in this discipline.
You will work closely with developers, data scientists and other experts in our different businesses.
