Job description

The purpose of the role is to manage and facilitate continuous improvement projects and initiatives across the organisation. Working in a small team you will be responsible for identifying and implementing your improvements with the overall aim of improving processing times and quality.

The successful candidate will work with other CI teams across the company to improve production and support processes in line with business needs and growth.

Desired profile

- Active involvement in project identification, scoping, prioritisation, progress monitoring, tracking of results and reporting findings across the organisation.
- Project implementation and management
- Use agreed metrics to validate the requirement for projects, and/or justify allocation of resources
- Ensure all completed CI projects are embedded and maintained
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with cross functional teams working collaboratively to drive improvement programmes
- Actively engage with peers internally and across the group to ensure best practice implementation
- Completion of auditing, 5S, 8D and notice board information
- Root cause analysis

Candidate skills & requirements

- Systematic problems solver with the ability to implement solutions, undertake root cause analysis and instigate/manage change
- Able to manage your own project and workloads
- Understanding of the different areas of tooling and manufacturing
- Demonstrate competence of project delivery through application of CI practices
- Ability to manage and organise multiple projects at any one time
- Excellent communication skills to present effective and persuasive arguments/presentations on complex topics
- Positive and proactive approach to challenges and change management
- A passion for continuous improvement with strong influencing skills
- The ability to work independently
