Title: Assistant Manager, Merchandising Operations

Reporting to : Assistant Vice President Operations

Location: New York, NY

 

 

·  Act as the primary contact for boutique and e-commerce teams, managing the demands of the network as they relate to the inventory of jewelry, watches, accessories,
·  Respond to inquiries from commercial teams regarding transfer policy, product availabilities, orders status, model stock levels and general needs related to the inventory of jewelry, watches, accessories and all sales-necessary materials.
·  Manage the flow of jewelry, watches, fragrance, packaging and PLV across all channels; Process transfers between boutiques and sell-in invoicing to our wholesale partners as required. Perform regular stock rebalancing to optimize inventory.
·  Process consignments to our wholesale partners as needed and follow-up regarding the timely return to stock or invoicing based on the terms agreed upon prior to shipment; Complete the appropriate transactions within SAP.
·  Assist in the organization of returns from our wholesale partners including the processing of return authorizations orders and their subsequent credits in SAP. Manage the reconciliation of their inventory in the shared online reporting tool monthly.
·  Treat the exports of all product out of the Americas in SAP and liaise with local logistics teams and European counterparts to ensure the timely delivery of the product overseas.
·  Liaise with the local Planning team to assist employees with their short and long-term personal consignment requests.
·  Refresh and distribute monthly dashboards and prepare ad hoc reporting as required.

 

 

 

·  Bachelor's degree or equivalent. Minimum three years’ experience in a merchandising or supply chain role, preferably in luxury goods
·  Excellent organizational, communication, and computer skills especially in Microsoft Excel.
·  Solid analytical skills and strong aptitude to work with figures.
·  Previous experience with luxury consumer products desired.
·  Previous knowledge of SAP is a plus.
·  Excellent interpersonal skills with a service oriented attitude.
