Job description

The Non Traditional Manager (NTM) will be responsible for leading NT sales segments within the assigned region, including opening, developing and managing a defined group of accounts across the region’s Military, Transportation, Vending, Collegiate, Specialty Retail and Quick Serve Restaurant channels. They are responsible for establishing and maintaining package distribution, implementing channel strategies, coordinating sales, effectively managing budgets, executing national programs, and 360 marketing efforts with their sales and marketing counterparts as well as with distribution partners.

·  SALES & DISTRIBUTION MANAGEMENT 

Direct coaching and development (in field and in office) of non-traditional Route to Market support system: Distribution Partners and Sales Brokers. 

Ensures new account growth plans & KPI goals are laid out by distributor by channel for each year

Manages the results monthly and meets with region teams to monitor, build on or correct results against KPI’s

Placement of all appropriate packages consistent with RBNA strategy for each channel

Work with DPMs/DPs on all opportunities – Military, Transportation, Vending, Collegiate, Specialty Retail and QSR channels.  

Shares category trends to GM teams and customers using available syndicated data sources.

·  ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT 

Annual volume, spend and execution planning with assigned key accounts.

Conducting quarterly business meetings 

·  NEW BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT  

Identifying new business opportunities (B2B) for Red Bull and distribution partners.

Leading proposal development and business pitches + coaching sales network for new business. 

·  PRICING & PLANNING

Manages optimum pricing according to NT channel-specific pricing strategy 

Communicates to Sr NTM necessary customer pricing to be implemented into CPM

Manage all CPM components for their designated territories.

Negotiates with accounts best pricing strategy using RBNA guidelines

·  PROMOTION

Executes national promotions across all channels

Identifies and outlines promotional tactics by channel and by package

Creates synergies between sales & marketing through coordinated sampling efforts with FMS.

LEAD Cell Teams 360 planning/marketing direction for all focus channels: Military, Transportation, Vending, Collegiate, Specialty Retail and QSR.

  

·  DEVELOP AND SHARE BEST PRACTICES

Communicates success that can be replicated by other NTMs across the system

Participate in Monthly NT program communication to DPMs, DSMs, GMs & DPs.

Assist DPMs in building DP capabilities across key NT Channels 

Manages and tracks results monthly for M&S and wire reporting

Shares best practices with customers in an effort to duplicate success in similar accounts

·  EXECUTE ALL NATIONAL PROGRAMS

Leverages support created with national account programs to establish distribution and promotions

Ensures that all components of national agreements are executed as intended

Communicates with Sr NTM on any exceptions or issues with national account execution

Work with NT NAM team on all National initiatives.

·  SALES TOOLS

Utilizes all sales tools provided to create maximum brand presence in accounts

Focuses on visibility in accounts utilizing POS to increase consumer awareness

·  KEY DELIVERABLES

Actively participates in GM/Regions MPRs & TBRs providing direction and feedback on KPI progress

Works in Field with DPMs/DPs to provide direction regarding strategy alignment

Alignment with Sr NTM on Monthly distribution KPIs on MPR release.  Review with Regions monthly

Your experience includes:

(proven performance in)

· 
Minimum 3 years sales experience in Non Traditional sales, Off Premise sales or Key Account sales.

· 
Direct Sales Brokers and Distributor management experience

· 
Exceptional communication skills, including presenting and training abilities 

· 
Strong planning and project management competencies

· 
In-depth knowledge of the consumer goods industry and trade

· 
Experience managing multiple channels across multiple markets

· 
Strong ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects

· 
Self Starter

· 

Bachelor’s degree required

· 

Fluent in English, additional language skills an advantage
