The Requirements
We're looking for an intern to join the Corporate Coverage desk in our Paris office
· This is a 6 month internship beginning in January 2017, working as an Analyst on our team covering French large corporates
· You'll be based in our office at 32 Rue de Monceau, 75008 Paris, and will receive a gross salary of 1.600 € per month
· You'll have the chance to gain exposure to RBS's full suite of products, and interact with teams across the bank including Debt Capital Markets, Loan Markets, Corporate Advisory, Rates and FX, and Transaction Services
· You'll need to be fully fluent in both French and English, and hold a study agreement with a French university or business school
What you'll do
You will be a full part of the team, conducting company and industrial data research, credit and financial analysis, sector research and review, peer analysis, and other tasks related to the client relationship management. It's a chance to gain valuable professional experience, including:
· Supporting the team in structuring and executing transactions
· Financial modelling for specific transactions
· Drafting client presentations
· Managing clients' risks
· Updating financial reporting

The skills you'll need
We're looking for someone who is fully fluent in both French and English, and is studying towards a degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Engineering, or a similar discipline at a business or engineering school. You'll also need a study agreement with a French university or business school, and a previous experience in finance would be welcome, though not essential.
You should demonstrate:
· Good understanding and knowledge of the main accounting standards
· An interest for economic news
· A strong team ethic, enthusiasm and a rigorous approach to your work
· A strong desire to develop your financial analysis and modelling skills
