Are you a software engineer with strong Python or Scala skills that has strong interest in Machine Learning and Data Science? Procter & Gamble is looking for a software engineer with strong interests in these areas to work closely with our Data Scientists on exciting business use cases primarily in the retail and marketing area. In this role you would be working closely with data scientists to help them scale their algorithms.

Key responsibilities & duties:

As a Software Engineer working with Data Science at P&G, your key responsibilities will include:
·  Code refactoring with Data Science and Data Engineering to get machine learning models from proof of concept to production
·  Infrastructure engineering, security engineering, and architecture planning for new systems
·  Develop internal tooling and libraries needed to support machine learning efforts
·  Regular innovation/proof of concept work to deliver breakthroughs vs current techniques
Qualifications

Qualifications:

·  Bachelors/Masters degree in: Computer Science or other technical degree with relevant software engineering experience and interest in machine learning
·  4+ years relevant experience in Software Engineering
·  Development knowledge in Python or Scala
·  Knowledge of the following required: Networking, Secure Development, Linux, Authentication Principles
·  Hands on use of the following preferred but not required: Spark, Containerization, Cloud Platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP), DataBricks, Google BigQuery
·  Ability to work with teams and individually in a highly dynamic and exciting environment
