As a PhD intern at P&G, you will be working on projects that will expand your capabilities (that can be completed within 10-12 weeks) and will be meaningfully related to your classroom and research education. This assignment will be within P&G's Global Engineering Process organization. This organization is a blend of scientists and engineers with PhD's in physics, chemistry, chemical engineering, and mechanical engineering. The objective of this assignment is to establish connections between processing and micro-structure of complex fluids. This will involve a mixture of rheology, microscopy, mathematical modeling, and additional state of the art techniques.

At P&G, intern sessions are considered temporary employment, with a predicted ending point. No full-time employment commitments are made; however, depending on satisfactory completion of certain criteria, candidates may be considered for full-time positions upon obtaining their PhD. The preferred period for the 10 to 12 week internship is June to September. The internship is a paid, full-time, 40 hour per week position. Hourly rates are based on the student's academic year completed.
