· 
Lead and maintain the development of the microbiological capability at manufacturing sites.

· 
Supervise and review the Microbiology results and metrics of sites.

· 
Provide leadership and expertise to Product Supply and Quality Assurance to significantly reduce level of Microbiology risks and minimize business losses associated with microbial contaminations.

· 
Select training and qualification of the site microbiologists, including new test methods and procedures.

· 
Establish and lead a regional site microbiology network to support capability building, risk management, and troubleshoot at product supply sites.

· 
Support new initiatives to ensure the management of microbial risk.

· 
Support and Supply to innovation in Industrial Microbiology.

Qualifications

·  Degree (BSc) in Biology, Bio-Chemistry, or Microbiology, Food Engineering/Food sciences or related fields required. Proficient in English writing and speaking.
·  Familiarity or work experience in isolating and identifying microorganisms, cleaning and sanitization techniques, clean design and contamination investigations. Previous experience working at manufacturing sites, ideally as microbiologist, quality or technical support.
·  Good understanding sanitary equipment design standard, regulatory and compliance requirements for the Asia region.
·  Technical mastery: Strong proven knowledge of Microbiology control systems, quality program, laboratory operations.
·  Grows capability: Ability to build technical capability at different levels. Successful experiences at mentoring others.
·  Strong communication, leadership and influencing skills across different levels of the organization.
·  Strong problem-solving skills: Ability to translate sophisticated issues into an important set of recommendations that can be understood by non-microbiologists.
·  Leadership: Validated ability to energize, engage and enroll other key functions to deliver results, more specifically in the areas of quality, analytical and microbiology.
·  Partnership: Experience collaborating between multiple functions, building strong networks and team work among them. Ability to influence the key network partners to acquire results.
