Are you a hands-on and meticulous individual who can support our marketing team to ensure the success of our new products launching across Asia Pacific? The Marketing Assistant will be in charge of Japanese to English marketing claims translations, ensuring on-time project progression, be responsible for budget tracking, and take on few administrative tasks to support the business unit.

Your Team

You will report to the Assistant Brand Manager of the regional Hair Care Business Unit, and support the multi-functional team.

What Success Looks Like

You are someone who is meticulous and have a high attention to detail, and are able to translate documents, claims, and materials easily between Japanese and English. Your strong communication skills should be key in the translation work but also helps you to influence across regional teams. You are used to working in a fast-paced and fluid environment and able to learn and adapt.

Responsibilities


·  Translate package claims & briefing materials from Japanese to English
·  Proof-reading to ensure accuracy of Japanese claims on product artwork
·  Engaging team members to ensure quality & timely project delivery (eg. upload materials into system, follow up on deadlines etc)
·  Monthly budget tracking and cost reporting
·  Administrative support and other adhoc trasks / projects

Qualifications

·  Business-level written and spoken Japanese language (Minimum JLPT 1 Japanese Language Certification or native Japanese speakers)
·  A high level of attention to detail with strong discipline to manage project plans, timelines & complexity
·  Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with ability to adapt/adjust as changes are needed and deliver with a sense of urgency
·  Strong communication & relationship building skills
·  Minimum Diploma level education
