PEOPLE AND CULTURE (HR) SUPERVISOR
Purpose of the role: Support the People and Culture (HR) Manager in the day-to-day operation of the P&C department. You will also be responsible for coaching, mentoring and upskilling our HR Assistant.
We now have an exciting opportunity for an individual to join our store team as People and Culture (HR) Supervisor. This is a full time role working Monday-Friday (09:00-18:30); although flexibility will be required to work occasional weekends. Variety is a key part of the role; therefore you will be involved with a wide spectrum of HR duties including: recruitment, payroll, training and employee relations.
A strong demonstrable interest in HR; whether through a CIPD qualification and/or previous HR experience is highly desirable. Knowledge of systems such as Workday, eTime, CORE and BrassRing is an advantage; although systems training will be provided to the successful candidate. Intermediate level skills on Microsoft Word and Excel are essential.
Progression opportunities within Primark are second to none. You may decide you want to progress to People and Culture (HR) Manager level or perhaps join the HR New Store Support Team who are responsible for the recruitment for all new Primark stores. You may even spend a few weeks on a bolster secondment. This is where you will travel to a new Primark store to work closely with newly appointed staff for that store during the initial few weeks of trading - sharing your expertise. Bolster opportunities are available throughout the UK and also abroad.
