Rakuten-PriceMinister, a Rakuten Group company, is hiring a QA engineer to work as part of Rakuten’s Europe Technology Division in our Paris office.

In a dynamic and international environment, you will be working in a team of Agile software testers, in strong collaboration with Rakuten companies in France, Germany, Luxemburg, the UK, Spain and our overseas subsidiaries.

Together with business analysts and product managers, you will define acceptance criteria and test strategies, gather and communicate quality metrics and participate in continuous improvement of processes and organization.

Together with the development teams you will orchestrate the delivery into production, and automate the deployment processes together with the ops teams in order to make them repeatable and undoable.

You will participate in creating a centralized QA platform for test automation and pre-production integration tests.

Most of our teams are using Agile project management practices (Scrum, Kanban, Lean); ideally you already have some practical knowledge of Agile testing.

But most importantly, you love your work as a software tester, and together with the team you always strive to get even better at what you do !

Profil recherché

You have:

A minimum of 2 years of real work experience as a software tester in a web environment (web services, frontend web applications)
Software development skills in at least one programming language (ideally Java or Scala)
Practical experience with test automation
Fluent English
Good communication skills
You are at ease with Linux (basic commands and shell scripting)

Icing on the cake :

DevOps experience (containerization, deployment automation, configuration management)
Experience in security or performance testing
Experience in working with distributed teams
Agile testing experience
Fluent French
