Plastic Omnium Technical center in Lozorno is the main engineering center in Central Europe for the Division Auto Exterior. We are developping brand new products, for our premium customers. As part of the technical center, you will be working among international teams of engineers specialized in manufacturing processes, in design, in technical purchasing and various other technical functions.

 

Job description
-manage the advanced product quality planning (APQP) process with suppliers to
achieve non-event launches
-coordinate and manage supplier production part approval process (PPAP’s) to
closure
-engage with the Plastic Omnium Auto Exteriors (POAE) Plant Supplier Quality
Engineer on risks and containment during launch
-manage program changes with suppliers 6 months after SOP
-contribute to the selection of new suppliers and to commodity strategy definition
-evaluation (audit) of suppliers when requested in support of the Supplier
Development engineers, in accordance and preparation for and participation at the
Sourcing Committee
-conduct feasibility assessments with potential suppliers prior to nomination, support
the nomination process prior to the sourcing committee
-manage the APQP / PPAP process with the suppliers
-manages supplier to reach PPAP on-time together with the program buyers and the
program Supplier Program Manager
-monitors APQP deliverables: Feasibility commitment, APQP planning, Measurement
plans, Control plans, product & process FMEA, validation plans, acceptance reports,
appearance approval reports, checking fixtures concepts, checking fixtures R&R
studies
-analysis of first off-tool parts and start of Part history tracking at the supplier
-enforces a convergence process on critical (safety) or significant characteristics
(Function and Fit)
-monitor mount-ability and packaging validation , with support of Plant Supplier
Quality Engineer
-report progress for each program and each supplier
-together with the Plant Supplier Quality Engineer prepares incoming inspection
(boundary samples; limit samples, instructions) based on retained risks
-supervises Supplier Ramp-up (firewall with inspection evidence)
-ensure a transparent process of change management from the program team
through to the supplier
-supports the Supplier Development leader with program performance analysis and
program lessons learned

 

Profile
- English – active, German - advanced
- University degree
- 3years of practice as Quality Engineer, ideal Supplier Quality Engineer or APQP Engineer
