Job description

Technical Consultant

The Technical Consultant (TC) is responsible for following defined procedures and methodologies to install, configure, test, maintain and support Monitor Systems hardware and software solutions, including problem identification, system architecture definition / specification, implementation, basic integration, validation and verification testing, customer education, solution activation and system restoration.

Key Responsibilities/Duties:

• Serves as the technical resource for implementing solutions that require analysis of situations or data, and an in-depth knowledge of the solution.

• Resolves complex customer issues requiring independent judgment based on strong IT knowledge and skills.

• Provides remote and on-site technical support to installed customer base.

• Instruct customers in the operation and maintenance of the Philips solution.

• Performs regular maintenance, completes required technical modifications, and conducts troubleshooting and repair to remedy issues.

• Diagnoses and resolves technical hardware and software issues (remotely & on-site).

Skills

·  Bachelor/ Master Degree in Information Technology/ Engineering with a minimum of 2/ 3 years of working experience;
·  Demonstrates skills of an IT professional with an in-depth understanding of the Philips Product(s), IT industry practices and company policies and procedures;
·  Demonstrate Techincal knowledge and clinical competence with Monitor System products and solutions;
·  Fundamental understanding of clinical workflow within area of practice;
·  Ability to manage problem solving;
·  Resident or willing to relocate at Milan area;
·  Ability to work in team;
·  Fluent in English and in Italian;
·  Deliver required results with high levels of customer satisfaction, both internal and external.

Willing to travel within Italy for a consistent part of his/ her working time (50%)
