Organization

Royal Philips is a leading company in the field of personal health and professional care with over 100 000 employees worldwide. Philips research is composed of more than 1000 researchers collaborating with 200+ academic and clinical research institutions.

Directly reporting to the Research Department Head, you will be part of an international team of 30+ researchers in Image Processing and Machine Learning, based in Philips France Headquarters in Paris area (Suresnes).

Key Responsibilities

Manage and develop Machine Learning competencies in the team:

·  Coach and support Research Scientists in the domain
·  Take part in Projects Steering Committees as Scientific Advisor

Apply novel Machine Learning technics in international research projects:

·  Interact with medical professionals to determine their needs and create innovative solutions
·  Supervise experimental validation and perform statistical analysis of software prototypes

Lead scientific communication and Machine Learning promotion:

·  Coordinate scientific communications and partnerships with Universities and Research Institutes
·  Connect with Global Philips R&D to leverage Machine Learning use in Healthcare systems

Profile requirements

Machine learning specialist:

·  PhD in Mathematics, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Statistics or equivalent.
·  3+ years post PhD experience using Machine Learning/Deep Learning technics

Excellent skills in scientific computing: C/C++, Python

Strong communication skills in written and verbal English. French is a plus.

Team player, enthusiast, able to convince and lead
