Your challenge

Are you the enthusiastic, talented intern we’re looking for?

Multiple HR initiatives are running and we could use help getting the best results out of them (while offering a great learning opportunity). Are you a talent, eager to learn, ready to make a difference and interested to get acquainted with HR in the context of a multinational company, then this might be just the assignment for you.

Your responsibilities

Support of multiple initiatives simultaneously, with activities ranging from jointly drawing up a plan to the actual implementation of an initiative. We currently have three initiatives in mind:

·  Supporting a health project that is aimed at improving employees work / life balance, optimize our efforts of creating a good working environment deploying, advertising and implementing health programs, interventions & initiatives. This will help us to create the best place to work!
·  (Define the WoW to) measure and report out on key HR metrics, among others in the context of providing Works Councils with an annual social report. This will help us to focus on what matters most!
·  Teaming up with HR Manager(s) and management to drive the follow-up of People Performance Management, intended to guide and coach managers and employees to improve their added value to the business. This will help us to find and nurture the right people to be successful!

Other than these 3 initiatives we expect you to be willing to provide generic support the team of HR Managers based on the High Tech Campus, when required and possible.

Your team

You will be part of the HR Managers team for Philips on the High Tech Campus in Eindhoven.  The HR team is partnering with their clients on organization and people agendas. We support management teams in the development of their organization design, organizational capabilities, talent and culture initiatives.

You will closely work with some of the HR Managers and the teams supporting the implementation of local HR initiatives / projects. You will interact with different parts of the business and the HR function.

Our offer

·  This internship assignment is not suitable to perform your thesis
·  Duration: 6 months
·  We prefer students able to start as soon as possible, but no later than May 2017

Internship conditions:

·  Students on work placement or final-year study assignment are paid a work placement or final-year study assignment allowance.
·  A student on a work placement or final-year study assignment is paid an allowance towards rented accommodation, depending on his/her situation. This will be determined setting up the Intern Contract.
·  A student on work placement or final-year study assignment who can prove that he/she is not entitled to a student card for public transport (OV-studentenkaart) is paid an allowance to cover the cost of travel between home and the place of work in accordance with the Conditions of Employment Guideline.
·  The student is entitled to paid leave on the basis of 1 day per month.
·  Opportunity to buy Philips products with tax benefit (Philips MyShop)

We are looking for

To be successful in this internship we are looking for you:

·  Currently studying towards your University Bachelor of Science/Master of science WO (Bsc./Msc.) in:
·  Human Resources
·  Business Administration
·  (International) Business Management
·  Work and Organizational Psychology
·  A curious and energized student
·  You need to feel comfortable supporting multiple initiatives simultaneously, with activities ranging from defining a plan to implementation of an initiative.
·  An assertive and independent person who is able to work with high standards of integrity
·  Some who has profound analytical skills and advanced Excel skills
·  Fluency in English is required – oral and written
