Martell Mumm Perrier-Jouët (almost 800 people), is one of its brand companies composed by the oldest of the major Cognac houses and 2 reputable Houses of Champagne, and is currently seeking his/her Packaging Buyer M/F.

Location: Reims or Cognac.

Key tasks / responsabilities :
As a member of the Martell Mumm Perrier-Jouët Purchasing & Development team, your main mission is to ensure the suppliers'panel management in the packaging field (other than glassware and foiling categories) for Cognac, Armagnac and Champagne AOCs.
Your key tasks are :
•Identification and selection of suppliers according to needs evolutaions and Group's purchasing strategy, management of tendering process
•Supply and conditions arrangements in accordance with performance goals (quality, cost, delay)
•Monitoring commitments fullfilling and regulatory, environmental and legal compliance
•Involvment in suppliers'audits, reviews and endorsments
•Quality issues management
•Budget making process and monitoring overruns
•On behalf of Pernod-Ricard Group, you carry out a Lead Category Manager ad-hoc assignement, focusing on a dedicated category
Profile :
Educated in an engineering school or a business school with a specialization in purchasing or packaging, you have a solid background in project management for componants or non-production purchasing in wines & spirits or cosmetics / fragrance industries . You are available to travel frequently in France and abroad. We are seeking a candidate with an excellent level of English and French.
