Customer Service Assistant

We are looking for a “Customer Service Assistant” to support the Supply Chain Manager on daily operations of the logistic function and responsible for handling a wide variety of questions, issues, and customer service needs with seamless coordination and communication with customers and partners.
• Main tasks:
Providing excellent customer service
Ensuring right stocks are supplied to clients
Daily management of stocks, to be able to analyse and explain the variance of stock
Working closely with the Sales Department to manage Credit Notes (quantity) to be processed to the clients
Prepare product or service reports by collecting and analysing customer information, assist with orders and products management
Process over, short and damaged freight and related documentation for customer resolution
Receives, researches and responds to customer inquiries and requests promptly and efficiently; offer customer alternatives to unresolved problems
Anticipate and identify problems and proactively work to solve them
Any other activities related to the job role
• As a successful Customer Service Assistant:
UK Degree or equivalent
Excellent communication skills are a must have
Be rigorous and organised
Master IT tools within the job role
Able to think quickly and deal with problems efficiently
Ability to work well under extreme pressure and tight deadlines
Ability to read and interpret documents
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers
