Orange Fab Asia & Orange Sourcing Consulting (OSC) Taipei team / Orange
Key roles:
? Assist to manage Orange Fab Taiwan Accelerator Program and collaborate with worldwide Orange Fab
team colleagues to promote Orange Fab accelerator in Taiwan
? Help Taiwan startups selected to attend the events of Orange Fab Tokyo, Seoul, Paris and Beijing demo
days and also support Asia startups selected to engage with Orange business team and Orange partners
? Develop structured knowledge about Taiwan and Mainland China information & communication
industries for Orange, covering manufacturers & suppliers, operators, and service providers
? Support innovation transfer from Asia suppliers and startups toward Orange footprint
Job functions
? Contribute to support the development of Orange Fab Asia Accelerator Program in Taiwan
o Help to recruit new Taipei startups for Orange Fab Asia Accelerator Program twice every year
o Manage the invitation, selection and award announcement of new season Orange Fab Asia ( Taipei ) program
o Involve to organize the mentor sessions, the events of Orange Fab demo days in Taipei, Seoul, Tokyo, Beijing, Paris and other startup exhibition events Orange Fab Asia sponsored
o Help Taipei startups to engage with Orange teams and corporate partners to explore business opportunity together
o Assist VC partners to collect and review the Business Plan (BP) provided by Orange Fab Asia startups in order to help startups for their fundraising
o Attend relevant startup events to watch startup ecosystem in Taiwan and in Mainland China
? Draft detailed analysis of selected Taiwan innovative service or solution providers
o Service description, key figures (deployment status, end user prices…), key technologies…
o Service ecosystem description: suppliers (technologies, devices, platforms…), carriers, service providers.
? Monitor Taiwan information & communication industries
o Organize and/or attend meetings with suppliers and manufacturers
o Attend relevant events (conferences, exhibitions…)
o Read relevant news sources, in Chinese or English and collect weekly Taiwan news
o Contribute to Asia Watch (short analysis of hot topics regarding sourcing & supply chain)
? Contribute to other ‘Market & Industry Intelligence and Supplier Assessment’ and sourcing team activities
o Industry cartography reports
o Sourcing operations support (support the sourcing request in terms of the specific RFI/RFP…)
o Research support of new sourcing opportunity
Profile:
? Master’s degree (or equivalent) in a telecommunications-related field, with a strong taste for marketing and/or Master’s degree (or equivalent) in a marketing-related field, with a strong taste for technology and innovation.
? Analytical skills; ability to research, structure, and report on information
? Good communication skills
? Autonomy and pro-activity
? Proficiency in English and Mandarin (mother tongue) are mandatory
