Job description

Junior consulting position for those who are continuing to develop their expertise. Receives general instruction on routine work and detailed instruction on new projects or assignments.

As a member of a project team, follows standard practices and procedures to analyze situations/data and provide quality work products to deliver functional and technical solutions on applications and technology installations. Work involves some problem solving with assistance and guidance in understanding and applying relevant Oracle methodologies and practices. Implements Oracle products and technology in various industries to meet customer specifications.

1-3 years of overall experience in relevant functional or technical roles. Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience. Product or technical expertise relevant to practice focus. Demonstrates competence in a minimum of one product or technology area. Ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with team members and clients. Ability to travel as needed.

Desired profile

Qualifications :

2 to 5 years of Experience
Primary Competency - Java
1. 4+ years of production software development experience.
2. Work with the Manager of Integration to balance project delivery requirements amidst operational issues.
3. Has prior experience of working in Agile Team and knowldge of Agile Framework.
4. Continuously improve, refine and refactor the code base. A solid foundation in the basics of software development including object-oriented design, debugging, unit testing, and
continuous integration is desired.
5. Ideal candidates will have 2 of the 3 following skillsets (Spring, Hibernate, and/or Web Services (SOAP and/or Restful))
6. Can help with technical design& architecture but balancing that with the primary role of delivery
7. Familiarity consuming and producing web services and enterprise integration concepts in a JBOSS environment (SOA) environment
8. Knowledge of continuous integration technologies (Maven, Jenkins, Sonar)
9. Ability to use and debug applications running on a Linux operating system (Redhat)
10. Unit Testing (variations on JUnit)
11. Working knowledge of building extensible back-end application frameworks.

Secondary Competency -
Web Services
Good understanding of web application development using HTTP REST, software standards,software development life cycle and methodologies.
Demonstrated experience with integrating 3rd party APIs into existing JEE applications (webservices, CORBA, RMI, OSS/J)
