Job description

Responsible for developing, applying and maintaining quality standards for company products with adherence to both internal and external standards. Develops and executes software test plans. Analyzes and writes test standards and procedures. Maintains documentation of test results. Analyzes test results and recommends corrective actions.

As a member of the technical/process QA division, you will design, install and evaluate quality control methods and systems. Design continuing maintenance of product quality. Develop standards and procedures to provide quality guidance and methods.

Duties and tasks are standard with some variation; displays understanding of roles, processes and procedures. Performs moderately complex problem solving with assistance and guidance in understanding and applying company policies and processes. BS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. A of 1 year of software engineering or related experience.

Job Description

The Support tools team is seeking an individual to join our group as our QA and Documentation lead.

The team maintains 40+ applications with constantly shifting priorities and release schedules.

Thus at any point in time you could be testing one or several releases or writing and updating documentation to support our applications.

Prerequisites

· 2 years performing QA in a test driven development environment using tools such as mockito, JUnit, Jasmine, Mocha, Oracle Application Test Suite, Protractor, Selenium, etc.

· Experience automating tasks with scripting languages such as bash and Perl

· Good fundamentals on REST architecture and testing experience of RESTful API's

· Strong fundamentals including an understanding of algorithms, data structures, and software design.

· Proven work experience in software development and quality assurance

· Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes

· Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases

· Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process

· Experience with Performance and/or security testing is a plus.

· Experience with continuous Integration and continuous deployment tools (Jenkins, Hudson)

· Experience writing business and technical requirement documents, test scripts, user guides, and other technical documentation on Confluence and in Word Documents
