Job description

Analyze, design develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for commercial or end user applications. Writes code, completes programming and performs testing and debugging of applications.

As a member of the software engineering division, you will analyze and integrate external customer specifications. Specify, design and implement modest changes to existing software architecture. Build new products and development tools. Build and execute unit tests and unit test plans. Review integration and regression test plans created by QA. Communicate with QA and porting engineering to discuss major changes to functionality.

Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 7 years of software engineering or related experience.

Qualifications :

Skills for Principal Applications Development:
• Proficiency in Java, J2EE, SQL, XML
• 10+ years of technical and/or consulting experience architecting enterprise and application solutions
• Exposure to UI framework and webservices - HTML 5, Node JS, Angular ,CSS[Any 2 of UI frameworks] desirable
• Mastery of all phases of the SDLC and Agile software development practices
• Execution of custom development projects and complex client engagements
• Current or recent leadership of multiple internal and external teams
• Must have good infrastructure background supporting application development projects
• Flexible and good in presentation
• Expertise on any of the Cloud solutions a plus
• Expertise on Application Integration a plus
• Exposure to Fusion Middleware - Oracle ADF/SOA/BPEL/ Web services/OBIEE/BI Publisher/ODI desirable
• Exposure to development of business applications in any of the following domains desirable – SCM/ HCM/Financials/CRM/BI

All candidates should possess
• BE/B.Tech/ M.Tech/MCA degree in engineering from a reputed institute with excellent and consistent academic record
• Strong Problem solving and analytical skills
• Good verbal and written communication skills
