Mission and main objectives

Reporting to INFINITI WEU Finance Controlling Section Manager, the Finance Controlling

Coordinator (BB & UC) is responsible for accurately and actively controlling the financials behind the buy-back and used car business. The person will oversee the repurchase of buy-backs, sales of

used cars, and used car stock management in all WEU markets.

The Finance Controlling function is divided into 4 main roles: accounting, compliance, financial analysis, budgeting and forecasting. The Coordinator is expected to simultaneously play these distinct roles on a daily basis.

Main Tasks & Responsibilities

Accounting tasks:
- Maintain UC Turnover, Cost of Sales, Fixed Expenses and other related GL accounts
(repurchase obligations and loss provisions) and ensure that all transactions are properly
recorded, reconciled, analysed and reported.
- Oversee the invoicing of used car sales.
- Ensure internals are tracked, department recharges are secured and recorded properly.
- Ensure that all buy-backs are tracked, provisioned and properly valued.
- Oversee inventory reallocation transactions and loss provisions release.
- Manage buy back and used car stock net realizable value (NRV).
- Ensure that accounts payable are paid in a timely manner.
- Ensure that accounts receivable are collected promptly.
- Ensure that periodic reconciliations are completed.
- Report periodic FCF forecasts.

Compliance tasks:
- Maintain control over accounting transactions related to buy-backs & used cars.
- Validate used car sale requests as per DOA.
- Ensure operations' compliance with revenue and expense recognition policies.
- Ensure internal cars added to stock have been validated as per DOA and credit released.
- Coordinate with UC team and accounting to update used car stock net realizable value.
- Ensure periodic physical stock audits are performed.
- Provision of information for quarterly and annual audits.
- Ensure that reported results comply with international financial reporting standards (IFRS).

Financial analysis tasks:
- Manage month end closing activities related to buy-backs and used cars.
- Produce periodic management reports on UC business contribution and stock value.
- Profit analysis by market, product model, and age.
- Stock analysis by market, product model, and age.
- Variance analysis.
- Explain the business performance in numbers.

Budgeting and forecasting tasks:
- Prepare budget plans in coordination with all stakeholders.
- Prepare periodic forecasts and outlooks.
- What-if and sensitivity analysis.
- Work with UC team to forecast profitability and market values (RV setters).
- Provide insight and robust challenge to support decision-making.

Additional Tasks and responsibilities (include team management, if any)

- Close collaboration with functions, regions and A&F teams from different entities.
- Involvement in ad-hoc projects and process enhancement initiatives.

Background & Experience

- Solid knowledge of accounting and finance principles.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills, problem solving skills and critical thinking.
- Strong sense of ownership, works independently and takes initiatives.

Specific Technical Skills

- Strong knowledge of MS Office tools, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of SAP FICO is a plus.
