Position Title

Market Management Intern

Mission and Main Objectives

Context : iNSC (Independent National Sales Companies) is a Business unit with the Nissan Europe Sales function managing independent Nissan importers in Europe. The i-NSC department is responsible for Nissan activities and performance in 22 countries in Europe generating more than 50,000 vehicle sales and 664 M€ Turnover per year. i-NSC consists of 3 main sections: Sales Operations, Marketing and Market Management. The internship position is in the Market Management section. This section is the window contact for all markets for all occurring topics, and is fully accountable for market performance.

The internship position is focused on realizing 2 key projects within the set time frame.

Projects :

·  Design, creation and follow-up of a excel based reporting and simulation tool with importers (iBT v2.0)
·  Incorporating and bi-monthly updating:
·  Product marketing data
·  Pricing
·  Sales planning
·  Investments follow-up
·  The tool should be able to:
·  Simulate scenarios and financial impact
·  Secure commercial policy follow-up
·  Support commercial negotiations with the markets
·  Design, creation and follow-up of a reporting to follow the commercial relationship with Nissan Europe
·  Scenario simulation & analysis
·  Build and follow a planning tool
·  Incorporating changing market conditions
·  Proactive data analysis / suggestion
Ad hoc analysis activities to support the function on a weekly basis

·  Analysis of the market trends
·  Data analysis to support sales negotiation
