Job description

In a role of Inventory Business Analyst you will develop and run reports and analysis to support integrated inventory planning process and results for the assigned product engine and category contributing to overall NIKE EMEA brand, service and profitability objectives (reduced inventory risk and maximized revenues). Understanding of business processes to make recommendations for business decision making and process improvement.

Inventory Management Business Analysis

· Provide information, analysis and recommendations to drive decisions regarding processes, procedures and key initiatives that support the Inventory planning team.
· Serve as a key resource the (global) planning teams on data and reports, request, issues and questions.
· Coordinate key operational events to meet timelines, ensure data integrity and operational excellence.

Report creation

· Create daily/weekly/monthly reporting to support Inventory Planning decision making
· Share with and explain Inventory planning reports to stakeholders, providing information for supply planning, financial planning, merchandising, planning mgt etc.
· Provide ad-hoc reports, (root-cause) analysis, recommendations to develop integrated cross-functional solutions to increase performance
· Support Main Inventory Management KPI's

Continuous process improvement (CPI)

· Work with team members to evaluate business/functional performance and identify areas of improvement. Participate in these process improvements initiatives.
· Support and participate in the different projects run by Inventory Planning and COE.
· Participate in training programs that supports best practice compliance.

Desired profile

·  Bachelor or Master Degree in a relevant field
·  1-3 years of forecasting or related experience (buying, financial analysis, inventory planning), preferably in apparel industry
·  Strong analytical and quantitative skills with ability to run business analysis process
·  Proficient in Ms Office (especially Excel and Word) and Tableau
·  Strong Story Telling capabilities
·  Strong communication skills (verbal and written) in English
·  Understanding of retail and merchandising metrics is preferred
