Job Title: Oracle PL/SQL Developer

Job Purpose

· 
This position is

· 
Critical position and the responsible person should have good expertise of Oracle Database development experience

· 
Responsible for analyzing, developing, testing, and supporting complex application software. These software applications must be developed and maintained with high-quality standards and minimal defects

· 
Responsible for analysing and fixing critical production issues

Job Responsibilities

·  Strong understanding of Oracle PL/SQL techniques to write stored procedures, triggers, functions and packages that analyze several million rows across several database tables
· 
Ability to grasp relational data models quickly and program using SQL and PL/SQL

· 
Strong understanding of Oracle dynamic SQL and ability to write complex procedures using dynamic SQL

· 
Optimize and tune stored procedures, embedded SQL, taking advantage of Oracle-specific features

· 
Need to have hands-on experience on performance tuning concepts

· 
Experience of configuration management tools (GIT), configuration concepts and continues integration tools (Jenkins / Bamboo)

· 
Excellent communication skills

Role Requirements :-

· 
3-6 years of IT experience

· 
Experience working with onshore and offshore vendor partners

Needed skill set (Essential):

·  Oracle – PL/SQL
· 
AIX – Linux – Shell Scripting

· 
Knowledge of Tools like JIRA, Zephyr etc.,

· 
Able to write unit test scenario

· 
Autonomous/Independent work ability

Appreciated skill set:

· 
Agile methodology

· 
GIT, Jenkins etc.,
