Jr Sales Consultant

(FMCG clients)

As a Jr Sales consultant, you will start by familiarizing yourself with our products and services, tools and your client portfolio. You will then use your knowledge and appreciation of FMCG products and Nielsen services to listen to, discover and understand client’s needs. You will then be able to identify sales opportunities and leverage Nielsen’s unique value proposition.

MAKE A DIFFERENCE

·  Delivering on revenue target for your FMCG client portfolio
·  Listening to the client’s business questions and turning it into actionable Nielsen solutions.
·  Building and maintaining a strong internal network with our other teams and an external one, by identifying key players amongst your client portfolio
·  Designing and estimating costs of new Nielsen solutions
·  Leading client meeting and handling sensitive client discussions where necessary
·  Developing the business, by identifying and penetrating new areas of growth.
·  Confidently negotiating and seeking to drive win-win outcomes within Nielsen and with the client.
·  Understanding the decision-making process and influencing key decision makers.
·  Work with other Nielsen departments to ensure alignment and buy-in.

BE YOURSELF

Are you a client and solution-oriented person, loving challenges and team work? Are you curious about the FMCG industry? Do you understand growth & brand strategy? This position is your next challenge!

Our new collaborator will:

·  Have a university degree (Business, Economy, Marketing, or related field)
·  Have an experience of 1-2 years in the FMCG industry or in a New Business/Sales role, preferably consultative ( as our team is small and need help asap, we need someone able to jump in the role rapidly this time )
·  Have a minimum knowledge or curiosity/interest of market research/market data and/or consumer goods industry
·  Be fluent in Dutch and/or French, one is your mother tongue and you’ve a very good knowledge of the other one – Required and mandatory as our clients and teams speak those languages
·  Be fluent in Business English

On top of these requirements, you’ll have an advantage if you possess one or more of these skills and attitudes:

·  Experience in Account Management
·  B2B sales experience
·  Experience in contracts negotiation
·  Good at relation-building and demonstrate strong communication skills
·  Able to demonstrate an ability to identify opportunities of development
·  Good organizational skills

THE RECRUITMENT PROCESS

·  An online test via the Pymetrics platform ( AI based games – really fun to do! You’ll get a personalize results report to show you your cognitive and emotional traits! )
·  A phone call with the recruiter OR a video interview( a small chat to start to know each other )
·  An Assessment Center which consists in a series of exercises related to a sales job, followed by an interview ( to demonstrate your skills and learn more about the job )*
·  A final interview ( because we like to have several opinions and we’d like you to meet several people from our team )*
