Les équipes du Groupe agissent comme partenaires au service de leurs clients dans quatre principaux domaines d’activités : le transport et la distribution d’énergie (réseaux terrestres et sous-marins) les ressources énergétiques (pétrole et gaz, mines et énergies renouvelables), les transports (routiers, ferroviaires, aériens et maritimes) et le bâtiment (commercial, résidentiel et centres de données). La stratégie de Nexans s’appuie sur une innovation continue des produits, des offres de solutions et de services, mais aussi sur l’implication des équipes, l’accompagnement des clients et l’ adoption de procédés industriels sûrs et respectueux de l’environnement. Purpose:

· Take savings commitment, leads RFQ process, and supplier negotiation
· Define and support category strategy, in line with the Group Purchasing, and ensures Cluster practices alignment.
· Build differentiation (innovation through best in class solution and productivity focus)
· Manage Global suppliers relationships and suppliers risks
· Execute Travel Management strategy and purchasing operations at WW level
· Manage & monitor the total expenses of his/her categories and suggest action to reduce both volume and unit cost
· Act as a business process owner for the self booking tool deployment

Areas of responsibility:

STRATEGY & MANAGEMENT

· Defines the purchasing 3-5 years strategic plan for his/her category (local /corporate, long term/ opportunistic, partners/preferred, market share, Make or Buy…) and implements the execution plan
· Optimize the Total Cost of Ownership on his category
· Contributes to Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) definition in line with the strategic plan, and monitors performance in his/her category
· Defines purchasing standards and indicators adapted to his/her category (standard contractual models, performance grid,…)
· Conducts purchasing risk analysis and defines mitigation plans
· Conducts spend analysis
· Provide guidance and requirement for booking tools deployment and usage
· Leads transversal projects at Group level and deploy them

TRANSACTIONAL PURCHASING

· Challenge needs expression (redesign-to-cost, functional analysis, standardization…)
· Consolidates needs at the appropriate level (global, local)
· Supports the definition of functional book of specifications (decision matrix for Request for Information/Quotation…)
· Defines the supplier panel for consultation
· Conducts Requests for Information/Quotation
· Leads negotiations to select the best supplier (on the basis of cost breakdown, Total Cost of Ownership - TCO and risk elements)
· Manages contracting and follow-up (customization, deployment, performance evaluation)
· Coordinate and manage the application of the Travel Policy
· Manage and coordinate the Self Booking Tool application at WW level
· Contributes to claim mitigation
· Implements and follows up Continuous Improvement Programs (CIP)

MARKET INTELLIGENCE

· Analyzes market trends (products, suppliers and customers) and cost drivers on main suppliers market
· Conducts market benchmarks (customers, competitors, suppliers)
· Builds solution cost structure
· Identifies and proposes alternative solutions in his/her category
· Contributes to the definition of the sourcing strategy
· Coordinates and/or conducts supplier sourcing on a worldwide scope (including in Leading Competitive Countries – LCC)

SUPPLIER MANAGEMENT

· Defines the supplier categorization (ABC classification,…)
· Manages Supplier Relationships with A class suppliers in his/her category
· Updates the supplier portfolio for his/her category
· Coordinates the monitoring of supplier performance according to Service Level Agreements (SLA)
· Coordinates the implementation of Continuous Improvement Programs (CIP)
· Promotes framework agreement deployment for his/her category
· Ensure global QCD targets achievements & claims management
· Initiate productivity audits and follow up

OPERATIONAL INVOLEMENT

· Effective teamwork with internal customers and stakeholders
· Lead saving plan
· Drive and influence the usage and consumption of end user on his categories
· Design and deploy dashboard to monitor spend, unit cost, volume by entity, zone,..
