More about the role

Ecommerce is an integral part of New Look, at the heart of our global multichannel strategy. Founded in 1969 as a UK fast fashion business, New Look today trades in over 800 stores across 21 countries and five websites. We’re the third largest womenswear fashion website in the UK and we’re constantly expanding our online offer into new territories and product offers. We’re looking for individuals to join our team during this exciting time and help us deliver a truly global business.

Here at New Look we’re able to offer our successful graduates a two-year rotational programme within our Ecommerce function, spending time in the following roles and areas of our business:

- Online merchandising and trading
- Online analytics
- Online content and design
- Online CRM (Customer Relationship Management)
- Online marketing

At the end of the programme you’ll have gained a comprehensive understanding of our ecommerce business. From inspiring our customers and delivering the latest trends to our website, to executing seamless customer experiences and making sure our website meets its ambitious growth targets.
We’re looking for graduates who:
- Have a strong and keen interest in fashion, particularly online shopping
- Demonstrate fantastic leadership potential
- Are highly motivated to learn and proactive about personal development

As part of the New Look Ecommerce Graduate programme you’ll spend time in the following roles:

Online Marketing

Marketing is central to bringing customers to our website. Optimising search, paid advertising and working with affiliates, this team is at the heart of our online strategy. As marketing assistant you’ll learn how we reach out to new and existing customers and help us target specific customer segments and to bring New Look as a brand to new territories.
Working with the latest media you’ll be at the forefront of customer trends and technological developments.

Online CRM (Customer Relationship Management)

How we communicate with our customers is key to our business. Working within the CRM team you’ll help deliver our daily communication strategy.
The role will give you a great insight into a number of different mediums, including site messaging, emails and in-app notifications. You’ll help inform the business on who we should be communicating with, when and what we should say.

Online Merchandising and Trading

As an e-commerce trader you will analyse and report on product performance online. As the first point of contact for buying teams, you’ll work closely with the product helping to make sure we deliver a seamless customer experience on site.
Working collaboratively with the wider Ecommerce Team your main role will be to improve and accelerate sales and profit performance.

Online Analytics

As an ecommerce analyst you’ll provide analysis and insights that help us understand behavior at site and customer level. You’ll help shape the site design, improve conversion, benchmark performance against industry and support the day-to-day trading of the site.
The role will focus on using website analytics and customer data to help inform and improve the online business.

Online Content and Design

As a content assistant, you’ll support the Content Team by carrying out essential daily tasks, including briefing designs, publishing site content and writing product copy. You’ll get a taste of creating editorial content for the New Look blog by working alongside content editors.
Working closely with our photography studio and Brand Team, you’ll learn how we translate the latest catwalk trends into wearable fashion delivered at the right time.
Because ecommerce sits at the heart of New Look’s business, you’ll also get the opportunity to work within other areas of the company, including:
