For our Global SIG Rx organisation, we are currently looking for:

Licensing Project Manager (M/F)

Based in the Lausanne region of Switzerland, in an innovative and dynamic environment, you will be attached to the Head of External Earlystage Opportunities and will be:

Scout for early-stage, innovative, external technologies, molecules or products aligned with guidance from the Target Identification and Selection (TIS) team and Rx Franchise management teams for contribution to the growth of Nestlé Skin Health. Organize scientific assessments of external opportunities in collaboration with partners in the Business Development and Research and synthesize recommendations for optimal decision-making. In alignment with RAPIDs processes for Earlystage opportunities decisions, initiate and otherwise participate in various types of contracts (confidentiality agreements, Material Transfer Agreements, valuation agreements, license agreements).

Activities and responsibilities :

• Identify new opportunities at the preclinical-to-Phase 2a clinical development stage.

• Provide feedback and intel from the field to Management and the RxSIG's CSI team.

• Coordinate business development assessments associated with earlystage opportunities, including the management of Due Diligence activities, in collaboration with Business Development and other key stakeholders in the RxSIG.

• Prepare recommendations and synthesis and presentation to management.

• Work with BD team to implement and conduct follow-up of contracts with external partners (confidentiality contracts, Material Transfer Agreements, Collaborative contracts, evaluation contracts, license agreements).

Expected qualifications :

• PhD in a bioscience (or equivalent formal training and demonstrated proficiency.)

• Formal training in Business Development (or demonstrated proficiency)

• Formal training in Immunology (or demonstrated proficiency)

• 5 years of experience in an R&D role in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry (must include 2 years of RESEARCH experience).

• 2 years experience in a Business Development and Licensing role, including activities in scouting for assets and negotiation of contracts in the pharmaceutical industry (confidentiality contracts, Material Transfer Agreement, evaluation contracts, license agreements).

• 2 years experience communicating with external biotechnology companies for the SCIENTIFIC evaluation of biologic therapies (monoclonal antibodies, fusion proteins, Fv fragments, etc.). 'In-person' experience required.

• 2 years experience of meeting with external biotechnology companies for the BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT evaluation of biologic therapies. 'in-person' experience required.

• Flexibility for frequent travel
