Gatwick based

Salary up to £35,000 depending on experience + private health, potential bonus + other fantastic benefits
Here at Nestle UK&I we are delighted to be recruiting for a brand new role as a Technical Analyst to join our pensions team at our Head Office in Gatwick. This newly created role is a fantastic opportunity for a talented individual who has already developed a great capability within data analysis. This role reports directly into our Head of Change & Improvement within our Pensions team.

What can you expect?
Where do we start… You'll have overall responsibility for undertaking all of our data analysis requirements to support the successful delivery of our change and improvement projects. You'll work as they key point of contact for all things data analysis, using in-depth analysis to inform the decisions we take to make improvements and changes across our pension funds.

You'll also:
· Assess project data requirements taking clear steps to understand project requirements whilst liaising with subject matter experts.
· Assist the business with the prioritisation of work by undertaking vigorous data analysis to support our business case assessment for a project prior to it commencing. Ultimately the analysis and recommendations you make will inform the change and improvement team on whether a project should be initiated or not.
· Provide analysis of proposed solutions from a data perspective, setting out clearly any risk areas and assumptions to stakeholders.
· Develop and maintain project documentation for data analysis at project initiation, during the course of the project through to a detailed impact assessment prior to project closure, highlighting any learnings for the future.
· Develop and maintain robust and repeatable data extraction procedures that add insight throughout the whole project lifecycle.
· Play a key role in identifying and monitoring any risk associated with a given project, escalating issues as and when needed.
Who are we looking for?
You'll already have a strong background in data analysis, including using tools such as Oracle, SQL, Microsoft Excel and Access. You'll be able to analyse data to tell a story that supports a whole host of stakeholders to make informed decisions. It's important that you are able to take ownership for your work to ensure analysis is delivered to the highest standard in the timeframes needed.

You'll also:
· Be able to demonstrate your exceptional knowledge of pension fund data sources, specifically the structure of our Compendia database.
· Have a good understanding of UK defined benefit and defined contribution pension schemes coupled with your knowledge of both scheme and member level data requirements.
And finally, you'll be able to demonstrate exceptional prioritisation skills, ensuring the successful execution of complex tasks are achieved in an environment that can often be pressured. Coupled with your great communication skills allowing you to facilitate discussions in a collaborative way with all of your stakeholders.
