In November 2017, Nespresso launched a brand new boutique concept converting some of our boutiques to the new format across Australia and New Zealand.
This new concept brings coffee to the forefront, and removes barriers allowing Coffee Specialists to engage and personalise the experience. In addition, there is no longer just one designated tasting area, to allow flexible and tailored tasting experiences throughout the boutique.
As we bring coffee to the forefront, it is important that we are able to equip our teams with the right coffee expertise, communication skills and storytelling techniques to connect and engage with our customers.
In November we will be opening our brand new, new concept boutique in Chadstone, VIC and are recruiting for a Boutique Coffee Bard to join the team.
The Coffee Bard is a newly created role for Nespresso, crucial to the success of our new concept.
As the Coffee Bard for your Boutique you will be the reference point for coffee expertise, and will also be responsible for …
· Planning, delivering and reviewing all coffee related training in the boutique
· Managing and facilitating the coffee masterclasses within the boutique
· Delivering coffee engagement activities to both your team and customers
· Facilitating the Golden Capsule contest for your team
· Providing regular coaching to Coffee Specialists on coffee expertise, Nespresso products, service and storytelling techniques
Our new Coffee Bard …
Will report to the Boutique Manager and the Coffee Ambassador, linking the boutique and the HQ Coffee Team. This role will also require you to travel to the North Sydney office from time-to-time. To be successful in this position, you must demonstrate a passion for coffee and especially for developing others, you will feel confident in front of an audience and have comprehensive knowledge of the Nespresso product range.
